Arizona’s COVID crisis

Our state is in crisis and YOU are at the helm. Your failure to enact and enforce real, evidence based measures to prevent the transmission of COVID amongst your constituents has led us to be a national cautionary tale, yet again. Our numbers of hospitalized and ventilated patients are soaring. We are seeing patients of ALL ages with no previous medical conditions having very bad outcomes. And yet, you have failed to adequately educate and protect your constituents, instead encouraging “business as usual.” I hope you can see that this non-plan has failed, and I hope you can feel the weight of these poor decisions on your shoulders. While SOME of our hospitals still have ICU capacity, you know full well that they are NOT staffed to manage the surge numbers of patients we are anticipating. I am demanding enforcement of face masks within Arizona businesses, and I am demanding non essential business be curbed or limited to to-go/curbside ONLY, to limit congregation and transmission. Do it NOW, and save your citizens!
