Protecting lives of children and teachers in a deadly pandemic

Forcing schools to open is a danger to teachers and students alike. Now that covid data is being wrongly suppressed there will be more deaths. Students and teachers should not have to choose between their life or their loved ones lives and school. The US is the only country that has not gotten covid under control and it is embarrassing and shameful. Betsy DeVos does not know one thing about education as she has proven over the years nor does she care apparently about any students and teachers. Her estimate of .02% of children would die means THOUSANDS of children will die of schools reopen too soon. Another member of the trump administration is quoted saying "science should not stand in the way of schools opening". The disbelief of science and intellectuals is alarming and leans towards fascism. Please help protect children and teachers.
