Re: Next relief package

23 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

Any negative payroll provisions in the next stimulus legislation MUST include language that protects the federal unemployment benefits that Democrats fought so hard for in the CARES act. The proposition of negative payroll is a transparent move by republicans who are looking to reverse the federal unemployment benefits currently helping millions of americans. They have explicitly expressed their distaste for the current federal unemployment benefits currently signed into law already, and it is clear they will do anything they can to take them away, if given the opportunity. You must not allow them to kill those benefits under such a transparent and crude guise. Please be wary of these attempts when considering further coronavirus relief legislation.
