Trump's tweet suggesting delay of the election

The president's recent tweet suggesting that we delay the presidential election is an effort to undermine the foundation of our country's democracy. Safe and open elections are critically important, but preemptively suggesting that the election will be fraudulent and inaccurate is an attempt to negate a hallmark of democracy -- the peaceful transfer of power, even to an opposing power. I call upon you to immediately denounce this statement and work to ensure that our election this November is held -- safely and securely, but held.
