Instruction Permits for New Drivers

12 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

With the DOL closed, please consider the following alternatives for students who are not currently able to obtain instruction permits. 1- allow students enrolled in a driver's ed class to use their class registration as an instruction permit at this time. This will take no effort from the state, as the driver's ed companies can communicate with students about this. or 2- allow the current DOL pre-application for instruction permits to act as a temporary instruction permit Allowing these students to obtain permits now will make the roads safer for all of us. With roads less busy and students having time to learn, it is a perfect time for them to get the necessary practice hours. This may also lesson the lines and number of students mobbing the DOL when it finally opens. Thank you.
