Holding Justice Ginsburg's seat open until after inauguration in 2021

Sir, in 2016, with months to go to the election, Sen Maj leader Mitch McConnell said “The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.” You must agree that this principle applies even more so now considering ballots for this election are already being cast in some states and will be in TX in 24 short days. Will you go on record confirming you will abide this "McConnell rule" and hold Justice Ginsburg seat open until after the January inauguration? Thank you.
