An open letter to State Governors & Legislatures Police Body Cams- Please Read
6 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers! I live in Vigo county, and am disheartened to learn that our police department does not utilize body cameras. I urge you to apply pressure in order to enforce all Indiana police departments to use these cameras- for the protection of Indiana citizens and maybe even to consider for the use of learning strategies in police education. Another idea could be use of incentives with good behavior caught on these cameras- and conversely hold poor actions accountable. There are many injustices that our society is facing, and this movement seems like a tangible step us Hoosiers can take. I plead that you consider this request seriously- thank you for your time.
