Repeal 50-a

I urge you to act against police brutality and institutional racism. We need to hold our police officers to a higher standard. We must demilitarize police forces and create non-lethal response teams. A police officer's first response to danger should not be to fire their gun. You have the power to enact change. Please start by working to repeal 50-a, which allows police disciplinary records to be hidden. Kind words will not bring back George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless other black lives. Please help make my state safe for black folks by supporting them in your legislation.
