Denounce ICE Policy Revoking Student Visas

I call on Washington State officials to denounce any ICE policies requiring international students to be deported if classes are provided online for the upcoming fall semester. International students are a vital part of every university and they have worked extremely hard to get the opportunity to be here and it cannot be taken from them. It would negatively impact the universities they contribute to and would hurt all of the progress they made to come study in WA. Many students consider their universities their homes and they shouldn’t have that taken away. Please publicly show your support for Washington’s international students and publicly denounce ICE deporting students due to a pandemic that is out of their control.
