US to Join Call for UN HRC Assessment in Xinjiuang

7 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

The crisis in Xinjiuang China is absolutely terrifying and on principle undermines core democratic and American ethics. The fact that enormous numbers of innocent men, women and children have been detained indefinitely by the Chinese authorities under the guise of "re-education" is deeply disturbing. This compounded by the fact of multiple leaked documents confirmed by trusted journalistic organizations shows that innocent citizens of China are undergoing incredible abuses at the hands of their own government. 22 other nations, including Germany, the UK, and Australia have all set forth a joint statement asking that the United Nation's Human Resources Council asses this situation in Xinjiuang and aid the many innocents hurting. The US too should be aiding in this effort if not, at the very least, advocating alongside these other world leaders for an in-depth assessment of the camps. Please use your political leverage wisely and advocate for justice in this incredibly crucial point in global politics.
