An open letter to the U.S. Senate Please save the USPS.
7 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers! Please authorize funding to help save the USPS. Besides the fact that it's in our Constitution and the fact that Ben Franklin was the first Postmaster General, there are thousands of elderly people and many, many others who depend on the US Mail for delivery of their medications, especially in our isolated rural areas. Fedex and UPS charge far more than the USPS for this kind of delivery service and many of those customers cannot afford the price hike that would result if the USPS were eliminated. This is about so much more than just mail ballots in November, for many of us elderly it's a matter of survival.
