I write to you as a member of the American public seeking your aid on behalf of Reality Winner. The authority of Congress to investigate another branch of government is not directly written in the Constitution; however, it is an implied constitutional power. You serve as the eyes and ears of the American public.
In case you are not aware of Reality Winner's full story, the following is a brief explanation:
Reality Winner is a 28-year-old US Air Force veteran that proudly served her country. After successfully supporting our drone program as a linguist and receiving a Commendation Medal for her excellence in the program, Winner worked in the private sector as an NSA contractor. In May of 2017, while President Trump and all media was still denying any Russian involvement in the attack on our democracy, the then 25-year-old Winner unearthed a single document providing concrete proof of the Russian phishing attack on US election support companies during the 2016 Presidential Election. Outraged, and not understanding why this information was being kept from the public, young Winner snuck the document out of the building in her pantyhose in order to transfer this verifiable proof to an online news organization, The Intercept. To that end, Reality and her supporters don't deny her illegally leaking that single document, but context is key.
