An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Black Lives Matter

6 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

Take a stand against the police brutality that has become normalized within our society, and use your privileges to hold police, government officials, and institutions accountable for their role in the suffering of countless marginalized minorities. Please publicly condemn the actions of those four officers who murdered George Floyd and recognize the pleas of thousands of Americans who demand justice for the deaths of innumerable black lives at the hands of various police departments in California and the wider United States. Recognize that as public officials, you have obligation to serve the needs of our people and those who got you elected. Incite change within our country before it is too late, make sure that the Black Lives Matter movement is not for nothing.
