Expel Trump and His Enablers

Like many Americans, I am appalled by yesterday's events, although I am not surprised. We have seen the long, slow build up to this moment. I would like to urge you to act. Trump needs to be removed. If the Vice President will not use the 25th Amendment, then he needs to be impeached so that he can never run for office again. Additionally, every Senator and Rep who objected to yesterday's vote needs to be expelled. I want to see action and consequences because they are equally responsible for the attempted coup and that is treasonous. We must send a message that we use the democratic process to make change and we win by having more votes. Extralegal tactics need to have consequences -- for those at the top as well as those incited to rebel. Josh Hawley needs to be expelled. There are others, but I mention him in particular because of his actions over the past month and yesterday. I trust you will quickly do the right thing. This is not the time for conciliation; it is the time for consequence.
