Civil Rights Violation Urgent Matter
This letter is written in regard to a civil rights rights violation perpetrated by Linda Greenberg, The Swampscott PD and Asst. DA Danielle Doherty-Wirwicz. They are actively putting a young man’s life at risk with the unlawful arrest and unfounded charges against Ernst Jean Jacques which occurred on 12/12/20 in Swampscott, Ma. Linda Greenberg was at a Pro Trump demonstration led by Diana Ploss. These weekly demonstrations have promoted hate speech including individuals wearing Ku Klux Klan robes and blackface. Jean-Jacques, an activist and mutual aid coordinator was in attendance as a counterprotesor , dancing to the pro- Trump music. Greenberg is documented saying “He was gyrating in front of me and I got mad” and “ Why don’t you fuck off.. You are not America” to a counter protester. . Greenberg dumped water and Jacques attempted to take the bottle and several Trump supporters screamed “arrest him.” Officer J Cassidy and Brenden Reed were at the Swampscott station watching Diana Ploss’ live stream of the rally. Cassidy reported that he observed Jean “clench and close his fist and then wind up with an extreme amount of force and throw a punch at (Greenberg)” This contradicts video evidence. These officers are blatantly caught falsifying police reports and must be prosecuted accordingly. They left the station to make the arrest although there were officers already at the rally. Greenberg is also seen on video violently prodding a flag in by passers' face. Asst. Danielle Doherty Wirwicz charged Ernst to be a danger to the community and to have no contact with any person over 70 and be banished from the town of Swampscott. She also asked the court to accept the claim that water propelled onto Jean Jacques as a result of “essential tremor disorder.” This is shameful and unethical behavior from Doherty. As a result of the false charges and the sustained trial interim Jacques has been let go from his position working with seniors with intellectual impairments. Jacques has since been the recipient of racially charged attacks and death threats. Hate groups are actively galvanizing for the demise of Jean. The Swampscott PD and DA Doherty-Wirwiczr are not upholding the integrity of the justice system. This case is giving more credence to lies and hate than video evidence. This young man has lost his job and his life continues to be threatened daily. We demand all charges against Jean Jacques to be dropped. Linda Greenberg must be charged with a hate crime and the officers falsifying police reports must be investigated. Jacques is an active member of the community with no history of prior arrest, he coordinates, toy, food and clothing drives. Let this not be another example of a corrupt and failed justice system. Looking forward to your response in this critical case.
