Please consider supporting legal, recreational marijuana in PA. We could solve so many economic and socio-economic problems. Schools and infrastructure could use the money for support. On an environmental note, growing cannabis crop for market would involve more plants--which are air purifiers, soil conditioners, and carbon catchers. It would also enable industrial hemp to take off as a sustainable solution in renewable, natural resources. Personally, I believe when responsible people are able to choose between a couple beers or a couple whiskeys, they make the decision based on their circumstances and desired effects. Users may also opt for topical or edible products over combustible ones. That's not a reliable option with drug dealers. To quote a doctor, "ANYTHING could be in that." It would be helpful to many that turn to alcohol, when a certain type of cannabis would be the best solution for their (emotional) pain--which isn't reliably included in medical cannabis. Our justice system needs relief. We could stop spending so much money to keep non-violent offenders locked away and draining--rather than benefiting--our community. Certainly racial profiling and systemic injustice would see some relief. Law enforcement might see a downturn in violence-related calls, drunk driving, street dealers, opioid abuse, etc. We could use a little more peace here in Pennsylvania.
