Do Not Object To The State Certified Biden Electors
As a registered voter residing in your state, I am registering my opposition to the Republican party’s plan to block or object to the state certified Biden electors. I do not believe that further objections to Mr. Biden‘s election results should go forward because I do not believe they have any credibility. Putting forward an alternate slate of electors from any state is an attempt to illegally overthrow a bona fide election result. Mr. Trump had ample opportunity and more than ample funding to mount numerous legal challenges to election results with claims of voter fraud, ballot irregularities, and technicalities with state voting laws. Numerous cases were actually in front of conservative judges. We have seen all but couple thrown out due to lack of evidence supporting their claims and theories. The legal challenges have failed. Either you believe in the rule of law or you don’t. Your actions moving forward will define your position on that. It’s time to put away this opposition to what state governing officials and state election officials all say was a well run, legally executed election. They are in wide agreement that there has not been widespread voter fraud of any significance that would overturn Mr. Biden‘s election. What’s happening is an assault on democracy. The more that the Republican party pushes this narrative and this attempt, the more anti-democratic it appears to be. I will not support any legislator that continues to push for the nullification of this legally accomplished election. I’ve read your oath. Your oath is to the Constitution of the United States and “we the people” are represented by the Constitution. I cannot help, that because of the repeated mantras as “fake news“ and “stolen election“, that Mr. Trumps base of loyalists can’t see or accept the truth. That inability on their part should not determine the kind of leadership you exhibit. During the next two years, I hope to see a better example of leadership with integrity and honor from you. You still have to earn my vote.
