An open letter to the U.S. Congress Protect Trans Girls in Sports
34 so far! Let’s get to 50 signers! Currently, the right of young transgender girls to play on gendered sports teams is under attack by legislatures. They are passing bills to ban girls' sports teams from accepting transgender girls. These girls are prepubescent, and do not have sizable amounts of estrogen or testosterone. These laws that police girls' sports are blatantly transphobic, and it is necessary to preserve trans girls' rights to play sports with teams of their gender.
