Security for the inauguration can't be left to the Capitol Police

Given the abject failure of the Capitol Police yesterday, I am very worried about security for President-Elect Biden's inauguration. The current resident of the White House is not likely to leave graciously, and I fear that means we'll see a rerun of yesterday's events—and potentially worse—at the inauguration. I would like you to do everything within the power of Congress to ensure a safe and smooth transition. We can't get caught napping again.
