Peaceful transition of power

Blocking the attempts of a Biden administration to move towards governing and addressing serious problems leaves America vulnerable on both our national security and domestic tranquility. This is unconscionable as we approach the probability of 1 million new cases of Covid19 a week. Court challenges will proceed, votes will continue to be counted, but the peaceful transition of power is a cornerstone of our democracy and must not be subverted. Blocking the peaceful execution of that tradition will have lasting and devastating consequences that will leave us weaker and more divided. It is time to put Country over party. It's time to rebuild and heal this nation before it erupts into violence and Americans die. Once that happens there may be no turning back.
