Expel all seditionists

Well done! Thank you for shepherding impeachment through today. It is a great accomplishment: Trump must be held accountable for his crimes, and impeachment sends a resounding message about America’s values. Impeachment is only the beginning. The events of 1/6—not just the assault on the Capitol, but also Republicans’ rejection of the result of a fair and free election—made plain a grave threat to our democracy. It is clear that had the Republican Party controlled enough seats, they would have overturned the result of the election and ended American democracy as we know it. We cannot allow these actions to go unpunished, the risk is too great. Please, investigate what happened. Find out the truth. And expel the seditionists. Stop the rise of American fascism now!
