As the hearings for Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation begin today, I BEG you to consider your female and LGBTQ+ constituents over party lines. I am terrified by the prospect of her confirmation, as she poses a direct threat to a woman's right to choose, marriage equality, and access to birth control--which, as pro-life politicians, should concern you since access to birth control reduces abortion rates. These are just a few of the issues that will plague your female and LGBTQ+ constituents if you choose to confirm Amy Coney Barrett. PLEASE put your constituents over party lines. Put frankly, if you vote to confirm Amy Coney Barrett, you will never have my vote and I will do EVERYTHING in my power to assure that you never represent the people of Indiana again.
