Do not confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court Associate Justice.
With the announcement that the Senate floor vote for Amy Coney Barrett is scheduled for October 26 — eight days from the general election that has already received 45 million ballots — Senate Judiciary Committee chair Lindsey Graham has clearly indicated his unwillingness to listen to the will of the American people.
I can spend several paragraphs detailing my objections due to her lack of bench experience and extreme views. But ultimately, this will be a vote along party lines, save for votes of conscience.
This is my plea to withhold confirmation of any Associate Justice until the next session of Congress.
