Support our frontline physicians by supporting HR 8702!

Please support HR 8702, Holding Providers Harmless from Medicare Cuts During COVID-19 Act of 2020. While the CMS Physician Fee Schedule for 2021 includes needed pay increases for primary care physicians and others, the budget neutrality requirement will cause emergency medicine physicians, critical care physicians, and infectious disease physicians, among others, to take reimbursement cuts. It seems tone deaf to ask for these frontline physicians to take pay cuts in the middle of a pandemic. This bipartisan bill aims to prevent these pay cuts and ensure that those on the front lines of this pandemic will continue to receive our support.
