Responding to attacks on the electoral process

I'm writing to urge you and the rest of Congress to take action to stop the President's baseless attacks on the legitimacy of our electoral process. His repeated, obvious, and blatant lies about the election rise to the standard of "high crimes and misdemeanors" laid out in the Constitution as cause for impeachment, and demonstrate a lack of respect for his oath of office and the citizens of this country that is far more severe than the matter he was already impeached for once. This subject is beyond politics. It is Congress's solemn responsibility to begin this process when the executive acts in such a dangerous, reckless, and lawless manner. It does not matter whether the President will be leaving office in a day, a month, or a year. If these actions are allowed to stand, they will set the political norms that we will live with for the rest of our lives - or our country.
