An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Subject: PPP SBA Loan Funding Needs Immediate Extension

13 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

I’m writing about the PPP SBA Loan funding running out. I am in the process of receiving my own PPP loans, both first and second draws and I am deeply concerned about being able to receive the much needed funding. I know many small business owners in the same position that cannot survive without the allotted funding promised. I am asking for Congress to please urge the president to extend the PPP SBA Loan funding to cover current pending applications. Due to accounting reasons there are also several businesses that are still in the process of applying who will need the funding as well. I am urging Congress to take whatever steps are necessary to get this additional funding approved ASAP so that small businesses are not suffering more than necessary. As is, the current PPP Loans have been backlogged for months stuck in various stages of holding creating havoc for our livelihoods. While we understand that the reason is primarily to eliminate fraud there are many of us, like myself, that have real qualifying applications that need to be funded. Please back the small business community and get a bill passed immediately to supplement the necessary fund for the business community.
