Election legitimacy

Mr. Trump, today, alleged that unnamed opponents of his are "trying to steal an election" and "trying to rig an election." I then saw Sen Cruz and Sen Graham on TV making similar allegations. You know and acknowledge that this election is legitimate. Votes are not miraculously appearing. Election officials are simply counting legally cast votes. These egregious statements hurt our democracy and lay the groundwork to a false narrative. I have yet to see ANY statements from any of you defending the democratic process. Asi have pointed out earlier, I have seen Mr. Cruz do exactly the opposite. I expect to see a statement from your offices as soon as possible decrying these, and other false statements Mr. Trump made including ones about mail in ballots. If you’ve forgotten, let me remind you there’s a pandemic raging. Today saw the highest numbers, again. Rather than show empathy, rather than show that you are working on a relief package for the people, you allowed the occupant of the people’s house to make spurious claims. Mr. Cruz, you owe America an apology for your statements made today at Fox. Rise above this. Be patriots. If not, resign and I know some people that can do your jobs much better than you.
