Reinstate the Fairness Doctrine

44 so far! Let’s get to 50 signers!

The Fairness Doctrine was a policy that required broadcasters to present contrasting viewpoints to matters of public importance. It was abolished in 1987, and since that time, coverage has become more and more polarized, and so have the people of this country. Modernization and restoration of the Fairness Doctrine will give our people more honest, equitable, and balanced information and help reverse the growing dangerous divisions we are now experiencing. It’s time to introduce legislation to modernize it and bring it back.
