Unqualified

Senator Cornyn, over the objections of your constituents, you chose to break senate rules and vote in your committee to confirm a grossly under qualified candidate for the seat that was occupied by the great RBG. You sully the reputation of the Supreme Court with this vote. You have put hoards of your constituents in jeopardy with this vote. This judge will not vote with welfare of people in mind. You know this. Yet you voted “yes”. The ACA is in danger of being struck down, where people with pre-existing conditions now face exorbitant medical bills, leading to bankruptcy. Can you sleep at night knowing that you deliberately would cause people to choose between eating food or taking medication? Can you sleep at night knowing that people will have to choose between living with a condition or going to the doctor for remediation? This judge, as an originalist, will push America towards the dark era where women and people of color had little to no rights. What you did was abhorrent and disappointing. Shame on you.
