Remove Trump and expel Congress members who supported treason!

I am a constituent and I want you to impeach and remove Donald Trump for inciting a planned terrorist attack and coup on the Capitol building in his attempt to overturn the result of the 2020 election. The pro-Trump mob was prepared with t-shirts, zip ties for hostages, they broke into the building and people's offices and stole mail, they took selfies with the cops who let them in, they took down the American flag to replace it with the Trump flag and paraded the confederate flag around in clear disrespect to our nation. Outside, they pushed the media out and destroyed their equipment. From the scenes of insurrection on Capitol Hill to Trump's demand that the Georgia Secretary of State change the vote count in Trump's favor, he continues to launch direct assaults on our democracy. Impeachment is the appropriate response to this appalling action, to hold Trump accountable as well as to deter anyone else from attempting this in the future. Trump is as dangerous now as he was last year when the Senate acquitted him, he is as dangerous now as he was several years ago when Maxine Waters first starting calling for his impeachment and removal. But now his years of calling for violence against our government and the media has come to fruition, Congress cannot allow him to remain in office any longer. What we saw yesterday was clearly treason, and Trump and everyone who supported his attempt to sow seeds of doubt about our election and stage a coup need to be expelled immediately.
