Remove copyright law from spending bill

7 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

As a constituent of Monterey, I urge you to remove the felony online streaming portion from the omnibus spending bill. Alterations to copyright law have no business in a must-pass spending bill, and it seems Senator Tillis has proposed it in bad faith, knowing the vast majority of Congress would not be able to read the enormous bill in time to vote on it. I am very concerned that the passage of this bill as it is currently will suffocate free speech for creators on the internet. You must act to remove this portion of the bill.
