Support the USPS Before It's Too Late

28 so far! Let’s get to 50 signers!

Please do everything in your power to investigate and take action regarding recently appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s restructuring and cost cutting of our USPS. He has recast the nation’s mail service as a for-profit arm of the government, rather than an essential service. This poses a threat to effective mail-in balloting. His restructuring has recently displaced two top executives overseeing day-to-day operations and reassigned or displaced another twenty-three postal executives, effectively centralizing power around DeJoy, a major Trump ally. These actions, along with earlier cost-cutting measures such as banning employees from working overtime and making extra trips to deliver mail, threaten to undermine the effectiveness of our USPS. Please push to have him rescind the cost-cutting directives that have caused days-long backlogs, push to provide adequate funding for this coming year and steady the Postal Service in the run-up to the general election this November 3rd.
