An open letter to the U.S. Senate

A Pox Upon Our Houses?

22 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

I'm disappointed in your decision to be adversarial towards people who are concerned about the safety of children and the people who teach them in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. It's disturbing that you would wish "A pox upon their houses" in the midst of a pandemic that has killed 138,000 of your fellow Americans. 3,445 of those deaths are your fellow Louisianans. We, your constituents, are suffering, and we are afraid of the pox already upon our state, our country, and our world. We are stronger when we unite against our problems instead of attacking each other. I hope you will apologize for wishing ill upon the people you serve. More importantly, I hope you will shift your mindset away from attacking people and towards collaborating with others to help us weather this crisis.
