Immediate change needed

The killing of innocent black Americans needs to end. While in an ideal world we would be able to rely on the police to protect us, we clearly cannot. With great power comes great responsibility and unfortunately, while many people who choose to become policemen and women truly want to protect all citizens, there are also individuals who seek this position solely to gain power and dominance over others -- when this is combined with even the slightest bit of racism (we all hold bias in some way, whether we would like to admit it or not) it can be detrimental. This is not okay and it MUST end. This country needs to start living up to its creed, otherwise we will never have peace.
