An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Black Lives Matter

6 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

George Floyd's murder at the hands of a police officer was filmed, he pleaded that he could not breathe and died. This video and this injustice has sparked nationwide protesting and discussion of America's repeating and constant violence against black people and its excessive amounts of police brutality. I live life as someone who is black, this is and always will be one of my greatest fears. With your platform and your position of power I urge you to take a stand against such injustice and to show your dedication to ending this violence. Black lives matter to me, I hope they do to you as well.
