No bailouts without accountability
It’s disgusting that needed medical equipment is going to the highest bidder. Our government is failing us and the cost will be human lives. This has nothing to do with abortion so don’t bring it up. We are going to lose loved ones simply because the Federal government hasn’t taken charge of this health crisis. They are too worried about the stock market 🙄. If you aren’t taking this seriously yet, I don’t know how anyone will reach you. We are ALL in this together and our government needs to act. This is like a war and we need action. I am not in favor of bailing out the CEOs again. The people need the bailout. Remember the money being spent is OUR tax dollars. Most of these corporations don’t pay any or very little taxes. We need someone at the Federal level to take charge of this so each state isn’t doing something different. States shouldn’t have to bid individually for supplies. We have a say in this and Personally I don’t want to see a reality show everyday when we are the ones suffering the consequences. We don’t need a reality show, we need a leader! We don’t need to be lied to. We are strong people and we need the truth so we make the best decisions. Put someone in charge that knows what they are doing. You know when this will become real to you? That will be when one of your loved ones die and you realize they didn’t have to. No money to corporations without transparency for the money. We, the people, need to see where our money goes. I would also say no money to any corporation that doesn’t pay their fair share of taxes. No stock buy backs and CEO bonuses. Put the money where it can be spent like unemployment, small businesses and hospitals. Maybe bonus money for front line people like nurses, doctors, grocery clerks, pharmacy workers and truck drivers. I sure hope you consider this because the people are real tired of bailing out companies then they lay off people or even close facilities.
