Please vote YES on SB 1120

I’m writing in support of SB 1120. By allowing two homes on every property zoned for single-family homes in California, SB 1120 would lead to a substantial increase in the amount of housing available in neighborhoods throughout California and allow cities to build desperately needed homes. The housing shortage in California is driving social, economic, and environmental crises. Giving homeowners the ability to build more units on their property will lead to greater housing supply and thus more affordability. This will also allow people to live closer to where they work and transit hubs, which will reduce both our carbon footprint and wildfire danger from sprawl. I urge you to vote YES on these bills when they reach the Assembly Floor.
