An open letter to State Governors Initiate State Wide Quarantine
239 so far! Let’s get to 250 signers! Iowa currently has very few cases of coronavirus. Now is the time to implement a state wide shelter in place mandate to limit the spread of the virus. If we wait longer, and wait for it to spread more, we will be allowing many more Iowans to die needlessly. The sooner you act, the more lives you can save. Ideally, we would be having a nationwide shelter in place or quarantine, but the federal government has proved inept during this crisis. We are relying on you to keep us safe now Governor Reynolds! As a physician assistant, I am on the front lines of this crisis, and the general public needs a declaration from you to limit they’re movement and limit the spread of this virus. Please act quickly, lives are at stake.
