An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Trump committed a state felony by suggesting voters should try to vote twice

28 so far! Let’s get to 50 signers!

Trump committed a state felony by suggesting voters should try voting twice. According to North Carolina voter fraud law section 163-275 (7) It is a felony... "For any person with intent to commit a fraud to register or vote at more than one precinct or more than one time, or to induce another to do so, in the same primary or election, or to vote illegally at any primary or election." On September 2nd, 2020 Trump told local station WECT "Let them send it in and let them go vote, and if the system is as good as they say it is, then obviously they won't be able to vote," in Wilmington, North Carolina. By the exact verbiage of the law, Trump has committed a state felony by suggesting, and thereby persuading, North Carolina voters to test the mail-in system by trying to vote twice. This is another crime in plain sight and is one that cannot be pardoned at the federal level. I demand that the matter is looked into and that pressure be placed upon North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein to pursue action against Donald Trump.
