It is imperative that those entering this line of work are held accountable for their past transgressions. No one is above the law, and it is unjust for cops to be able to manipulate their personal history using loose ends within our legal system. If you care about an equitable future for all people, especially black and brown people, you must do what is right and repeal 50-A.
