An open letter to the U.S. Congress

You swore an oath of office.

6 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

The United States is failing under the leadership of Trump and his corrupt, dysfunctional, lying Cabinet. We are failing miserably in the response to the coronavirus. Trump claims that mail in voting will corrupt the election, a falsehood, as he corrupts the United States Postal Service to rig the 2020 election. He's corrupting the election, yet Republicans say nothing. What will you do to save our voting rights during a lethal pandemic? Do you agree with Kudlow that voting rights are a liberal plot? Our Democracy was built by we the people, but we are facing a constitutional crisis because a lying propagandist is trying to rig the upcoming election. Covid 19 roars through Texas, we need a functional, funded USPS to protect voters from contracting and further spreading the virus. Our economy won't recover until the virus is contained. You took an oath to defend the constitution, NOT a lying, corrupt politician who is dismantling our institutions and threatening our health and economy. Gentlemen, you can be part of the solution, or something more devious, but you can't remain silent. Our right to vote is we the people dictating our future, and your oath of office is supposed to protect our rights under the constitutional framework that built the greatest, most prosperous nation in the history of the world. Betraying your oath is unconstitutional. Silence is acceptance. Patriotism requires dissent when government fails. What will you do?
