COLLEGE STUDENT STIMULUS CHECK EXCLUSION

I would like to understand the reasoning behind Congress excluding one of the poorest demographics from the largest economic stimulus package in the history of the world. As a recent college graduate I don't understand how my parents that can still claim me from last year get absolutely nothing and neither do I even though I'm directly affected from the COVID-19 pandemic, how is it that as an essential personnel and college student the government is finding every corner to exclude me and each group that I belong to. I feel very forgotten and I know there are millions of other college students in the same predicament as I am. Some of which aren't being released from leases even though their schools have closed and they have no reason to be on campus and are being forced to stay there due to their lease, let's not forget the college students that worked on campus to support themselves are currently out of jobs and they aren't receiving additional help from their parents because they didn't get any additional funds from the government either! We are so financially vulnerable at this age and I just find it ridiculous that as future and current tax paying citizens we aren't being valued and supports as such.
