Problem with IRS "Get My Payment" Tool

7 so far! Let’s get to 10 signers!

Hi Representative Levin, I am having a problem submitting my direct deposit info on the new IRS "Get My Payment" tool. I am not required to file because I am low income. When I first heard about the stimulus I decided to file taxes free through Turbotax. I had nothing due and no return. On the new IRS tool it has a glitch if you are a "zero filer". It asks if you got a return or if you owe, but there's no option for 0. If you choose one and enter 0, you get an error that says "Technical Difficulties, try again later error 109." I am one of many Americans facing this issue. Please see this Reddit forum with hundreds of comments from others with the same issue: I would appreciate your advocacy on this issue. I have seen some stories in the media on this, but it's unclear if the IRS plans to fix it. I also emailed the IRS but haven't heard back. Thanks for all your hard work.
