Repeal 50-A

Repeal 50-A. Hold them accountable just like any other citizen of America. Let their past be known just like any other citizen of America. If the criminal records of Americans can be found so easily, what need is there to hide the records of those who are supposed to protect us ? This is about transparency and accountability. A large argument against the character of George Floyd is his past criminal record, apparently that "justifies" how the officers responded. Although that is wrong and his past gave the officers NO right to handle the situation as they did, are we not going to also focus on Derek Chauvin's past? He has a troubling disciplinary history. If 50-A existed in Minneapolis, this information would have never met the light of day. Do you see why this must be repealed immediately ? 50-A protects nothing but the wrongs of those sworn to protect us.
