An independent investigation into Hind Rajab and her family's murder was completed by Forensic Architecture, and Earshot. Of course, Israel, after months, has nothing to share about their own "investigation". A kinetic analysis of the wreckage and deformation of the car, satellite imagery comparisons, phone audio, among other sources of evidence were reviewed in depth by experts. Their findings suggest an Israeli military bulldozer, made by Caterpillar, had ran over the car. A total of 335 bullet holes were mapped. From the first 911 call recording when Hind's cousin Layan's murder is heard, 64 gun shots were fired in 6 seconds. The gun fired at 750 - 900 rounds per minute which exceeds the most common and advanced weaponry Hamas has. The rounds per minute and sound is consistent with the Israel's weaponry. Using advanced sound analysis, experts found that the shooter was approximately 13 meters away. It is not plausible that Israeli forces did not see the car was occupied by civilians and included children inside. I encourage you to read their full analysis. It's publicly available online and the methodology used is explained in detail. It also includes analysis of the murders of the EMS crew who had gone to try and save Hind.
On 6/23, a survivor provided his testimony after he was released from an Israeli military concentration-death camp that I still cannot think of without extreme nausea. I almost threw up the first time I heard his story. He witnessed Israeli soldiers use dogs to sexually violate and sodomize Palestinian hostages. Palestinian hostages are being tortured in ways that are beyond comprehension - electric shocks, sleep deprivation, starvation and deprivation of water, violent sexual assault that has led to several deaths, among other disturbing acts. This is the "most moral army in the world" you've stolen my tax dollars to support? Really? Tell me how this makes America safer. Tell me how this is in America's interests. We are watching men, women, and children be murdered, tortured, and starved to death all in the name of Israeli hostages that Netanyahu has refused every deal to secure their return. Free the hostages - all of them. Hold Israel accountable for their heinous crimes against humanity now.
I demand that you:
– Hold Israel accountable for a permanent, immediate ceasefire, their violations of the Genocide Convention, and gross human rights violations by any means necessary
– Call for the immediate end of Israel’s occupation and apartheid and support Palestinians in their fight for freedom and peace
– Secure the immediate release and safety of all Palestinians who have been abducted and held captive by Israel, including those whose indefinite detention began prior to 10/7
– Permanently end all monetary, diplomatic, and military aid given to Israel and enforce Leahy Law
