How is it aligned to what Trump and his allies are saying about their priorities?

"Project 2025" has not publicly acknowledged being the same document as the "Mandate for Leadership" document which is cited as the main source. However, it appears to be a very similar agenda. Many who have created the document state that they are working with Trump and his future administration and hope to get jobs within the administration. They are doing this in a similar way that the "Mandate for Leadership" is written as a sort of "playbook" or "roadmap" to how a new administration would act upon taking office. The Heritage Foundation has a very strong following amongst the Republican party, and the conservative thinkers that work there likely have a lot of influence. As a general rule, Trump has not distanced himself from this document or its creators.
