Project 2025 was written by the Heritage Foundation in conjunction with more than 100 conservative groups. While many may view it as simply a "conservative promise", the reality is that the platform outlines a clear plan that undermines the safety net programs put into place for those struggling economically, as well as taking aim at protecting hard-earned civil rights that were long fought for, and it attempts to erode important freedoms in access to reproductive healthcare. The platform doesn't attempt to distance itself from previous attempts at using tactics that have been proven to be divisive, and detrimental to people of color and women and is seeking to further erode basic protections for those most in need in the United States. It is a platform that intends to usher in a new age of unaccountability and to put corporate interests above all else.
