Additionally, this plan also aims to eliminate the EPA's Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights, a dedicated office that was created to ensure that environmental and public health policies are made to avoid disproportionately harming people in specific communities that are primarily made up of Black people. It is reasonable to believe that the goal of this plan is to decrease the protections and assistance available to people of color while bolstering protections and advantages for white people. This is nothing short of dangerous.
