Texas can't claim to protect women while hiding the evidence

Texas has already shown how badly its system can fail women. Now the state has pushed its maternal mortality report past the election and will not review deaths from 2022 and 2023, the first full years under the abortion ban. That is exactly the period the public most needs examined. When laws make
