Pass SB 165
As a constituent and a great-aunt, I am writing to support SB 165. Erasing the data of minors and kids will protect them more effectively from predators and abusers than burdensome, invasive, and unconstitutional age verification laws, and this is less like to challenged in court. Please pass SB 165
Oppose SB 343 and 467
I'm still writing in opposition to SB 467 and SB 343. Roblox's rollout of afe verification only made it easier for predators to get at kids in spaces that were made kid-friendly. Not only that but these bill will punish adults and older teens who use social media to form communities and spaced wher
Support SB165
I am writing in support of SB 165, which would do far more to protect kids online than age verification bills. Though it should also be expanded to adults who wish to request their information be removed fully from a company or a website that sells or uses sensitive data to profit, it's much better
Oppose SB 343
Age verification laws have proven to present more problems than solutions, especially in the wake of the revelation that certain public officials are in the Epstein Files. These officials are throwing their support behind age verification in the hopes of looking through the sensitive photos of child
Oppose SB 467
As a constituent I am vehemently opposed to age verification requirements being proposed in SB 497. Texas's version of this bill was ruled unconstitutional and an injunction was filled against it. More lawsuits than benefits come from bills like these, and more often than not, data theft happens as
The House version of SB9 was perfect. Don't redefine obscenity to be more broad.
The House version of SB9 would have protected us from interference in state elections and kept us independent. As a constituent I am asking you to undo the rejection of the house version of SB9 and oppose and redefinitions of obscenity. Obscenity laws did not prevent my sexual assaulter from acting.
